About Us
Miss and Mrs Township South Africa is a beauty pageant and empowerment program established in December 2019 by former Mrs South Africa finalist Koketso Makua.

The program was developed after identifying a gap for a formal beauty pageant that is focused on re-shaping the narrative of women who come from the township.
"I went into Mrs South Africa one way and came out another way, my wish is to teach others what I learnt so that they too can stand on their own and also pass on the baton. We are grooming future leaders" - said Koketso.
​
Miss and Mrs Township South Africa is also an empowerment program which provides a marketing platform to SMME's & also access to market which they would not reach otherwise.
Auditions 2020
Auditions are on 4 July 2020, Contestants who make it as semifinalists will have to stay for Semi's Conference
​
Auditions to be held at Manhattan Hotel in Pretoria.
​
Dates are subject to COVID-19 updates by the South African government.

Checklist for auditions:
- Complete entry form
- Bring copy of ID/Passport
- Send x2 pictures
- Pay registration fee
- Dress code: Pageant wear with heels
